Rear extension and property refurbishment in Studham, Bedfordshire
We were called to this property in Studham to discuss a rear extension and property refurbishment.
Following our suggestions and some changes to plans, we carried out a full rear extension which required the removal of the roof of the existing property to create a further 4 double aspect bedrooms, 2 additional bathrooms, 1 master en-suite and 2 dressing rooms.
We rewired the entire property and plastered throughout to ensure a perfect finish. We added a mega flow water system and wet underfloor heating system before installing ceramic floor tiles throughout the ground floor for a seamless look.
We installed a 9-metre aluminium door to expose the room to the entire garden and we added 2 x 4-metre diamond shaped atrium skylights to bring shape and light into the flat roof of the extension.
Finally, we hand-made and installed an oak and glass staircase and a bespoke double oak door and gable entrance to enhance the look of this beautiful house further.
